Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Super Salajudin Ii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Draski!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draski connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Salajudin Ii's hands.
Draski misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salajudin Ii.
Draski tries to close the distance and clinch but Salajudin Ii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A head kick by Draski misses
and Salajudin Ii counters with a nice uppercut.
Salajudin Ii misses with a straight left.
Draski throws out a counter right but Salajudin Ii avoids it with no problem.
Draski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Draski looks to land a combination but Salajudin Ii avoids it well.
Salajudin Ii looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ivan Draski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salajudin Ii just misses with a punch to the body.
Salajudin Ii gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Draski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Salajudin Ii moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Draski throws out a loose jab but Salajudin Ii uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Salajudin Ii counters with a series of strikes that sends Draski to the canvas! Salajudin Ii follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Draski is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Salajudin Ii off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Salajudin Ii is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Draski is defending well though. Salajudin Ii let's go of the attempt for now.

Salajudin Ii has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Draski has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Salajudin Ii has the hooks in. Draski is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Salajudin Ii is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Super Salajudin Ii will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
