Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Hopkins (ranked 117 p4p, 79 weight class) and Joe Exotic (ranked 18 p4p, 11 weight class). Exotic has chosen Joe Exotic - I Saw a Tiger as his entrance music. Giuseppe Hopkins had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Joe Exotic told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Giuseppe Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Joe Exotic!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Exotic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Exotic cracks Hopkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Exotic throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hopkins throws a sloppy head kick and Exotic moves out of range easily.
Exotic appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Exotic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hopkins throws a poor cross that misses
and Hopkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hopkins.
Exotic misses with a head kick.
Hopkins misses with a head kick.
Hopkins gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hopkins misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Exotic keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hopkins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Exotic drops Hopkins with a naaaaasty hook - Hopkins is in real trouble here! Exotic dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Exotic!
