Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ralph Long!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Msujfnaud Mspomfad!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Long, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Long. No joy for Mspomfad on that attempt.
Long drops Mspomfad with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mspomfad looks back up at him and smiles so Long waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mspomfad is rocked!
It looks like Msujfnaud Mspomfad has been cut.
Long stuns Mspomfad with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mspomfad is still on wobbly legs! Can Long finish him?
Mspomfad looks winded!
Long gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Long definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Long pulls guard effortlessly.
Long has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Mspomfad is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Long creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mspomfad with a big uppercut! Mspomfad tries to clinch up but Long pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mspomfad to the mat! Mspomfad covers up and Long unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ralph Long!
An out of breath Ralph Long thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
