The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
May Jr throws a leg kick but Bactya checks it.
Bactya swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
May Jr misses with a body shot.
Bactya moves away from the strike by May Jr.
Bactya takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

May Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bactyas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bactya has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA New York in the buildup to the fight.

Bactya takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bactya closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bactya lands in his opponent's guard.
May Jr wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bactya is now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from May Jr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bactya has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bactya and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
