Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Hetfield tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hetfield manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hetfield looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Hetfield is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hetfield manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Hetfield's guard.

Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Hetfield is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hetfield manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Hetfield's guard.
Hetfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hetfield darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hetfield pulls his head out easily.

Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Hetfield sits in half guard.
Silva is trying to maintain the position but Hetfield is very close to passing his half guard.

Silva is pressing down on Hetfield's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hetfield doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hetfield manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hetfield is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Silva has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hetfield is looking to defend but Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hetfield! Silva pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hetfield taps out and this one is all over!
