Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mendivil swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hill is looking to work some ground and pound but Mendivil has wrist control.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hill misses with a takedown attempt - Mendivil sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Mendivil counters with a shoot takedown. Hill fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mendivil is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hill has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mendivil is looking to defend but Hill has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mendivil! Hill pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mendivil taps out and this one is all over!
