Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Koa Maliana!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schiff has Maliana up against the cage in a clinch.
Maliana has Schiff pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Schiff manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Maliana drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Schiff lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maliana wants to hit a sweep here but Schiff passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Maliana there!

Maliana takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Schiff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Schiff cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Schiff is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Maliana is forced to tap! Great finish!
