Pereira comes to the cage accompanied by 50 Cent - Many Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira delivers a nice body kick.
Pereira uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before The General has time to react.
The General has a takedown stuffed.
Pereira throws a big counter combination but The General scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

The General dives in and scores a takedown into Pereira's guard.

The General drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pereira manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The General has Pereira in his guard.

The General is working an open guard so Pereira takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pereira, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The General takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The General glances at the clock... BAM! Pereira nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends The General crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, The General is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Pereira!
Alex Pereira was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
