Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Norman Wayz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicolino Monster!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Nicolino Monster has been cut.
Wayz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Monster misses with a takedown attempt - Wayz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wayz scores with a shot to the body.
Monster has his takedown stuffed
and Wayz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Monster fails with the takedown
enabling Wayz to counter with a crisp jab.
Norman Wayz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicolino Monster.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Wayz counters with a straight right hand.
Wayz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Monster looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Monster closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wayz quickly recovers to half guard.
Wayz is looking to get back to is feet but Monster passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Monster has hold of Wayz's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wayz seems comfortable defending it but Monster has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wayz is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wayz is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Monster couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nicolino Monster!
Nicolino Monster made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying '?, 2=(5.5,.05), 3=(5.5,4), (5.5,4[55,15,15])'.
Norman Wayz was interviewed post fight and said '(6,3[4,4])'.
