The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Drago gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Drago (0) vs (2) Gaul Gaul got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drago has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaul has managed to get both his arms back between Drago's legs - danger averted. Drago is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Drago's coaches at 3Band MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Drago is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gaul's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gaul's back!
