Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Kawoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoki Pikachu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki Pikachu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawoski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kawoski showed some decent athleticism there.
Pikachu is trying to maintain the position but Kawoski is very close to passing his half guard.

Pikachu wants to control but Kawoski is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kawoski seems to be working for a kimura but Pikachu defends the submission attempt.
Kawoski seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Pikachu wants to improve his position but Kawoski is controlling well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Pikachu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kawoski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pikachu.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pikachu looks to land a body kick but Kawoski moved away.
Pikachu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kawoski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pikachu is looking for a sweep. Kawoski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kawoski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pikachu is just riding it out for now. Kawoski eventually gives up the hold.
Kawoski is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are battling for position here. Pikachu manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Pikachu has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kawoski is proving hard to escape from.
Pikachu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kawoski dives on top into guard.

Kawoski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Pikachu has his foot on Kawoski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kawoski works his way back into a safe position though.

Pikachu is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kawoski frees his head nicely. Oh but Pikachu has switched to an armbar! Kawoski is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
