The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gerbandi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Gerbandi's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Gerbandi (0) vs (2) Brown

Brown has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Gerbandi looking to break Brown's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Brown remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gerbandi will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Gerbandi is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Brown knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Brown for a finish.
