The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace fails with a takedown attempt.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but Ninja shows good takedown defense.
Ninja keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ninja stuns Wallace with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ninja scores with a jab. Wallace acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Wallace stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ninja.
Wallace shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ninja lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wallace's sensitive parts.

Ninja wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wallace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ninja defends it nicely.

Wallace closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ninja tries to kick Wallace off but Wallace keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ninja tries to get to full guard but Wallace has control of the leg.
