And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Akuma Manivong!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindholm moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lindholm throws a head kick that misses
and Manivong counters with a nice uppercut.
Lindholm fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Manivong on the side of the head.
Lindholm throws a sloppy body shot
and Manivong counters with a head kick that drops Lindholm to the mat! Lindholm scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Lindholm is rocked!
Manivong fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Lindholm square on the jaw! Damn, Lindholm is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Akuma Manivong!
A very excited looking Akuma Manivong rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
