Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Bacon (ranked 5354 p4p, 4268 weight class) and Ulysses Corbin (ranked 607 p4p, 546 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Bacon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ulysses Corbin! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ron Honeybunn and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corbin throws a leg kick and Bacon counters by moving into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Corbin. Bacon misses with a knee to the head. Bacon misses with a knee to the head. Bacon scores a nice knee to the body.
Corbin misses with a hook from the clinch. Bacon tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corbin is trying to maintain a safe position but Bacon gets an underhook and turns Corbin into the cage. Bacon tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Corbin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Corbin showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Corbin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bacon works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Corbin sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bacon is on top in guard.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Corbin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bacon has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Corbin is on top in guard.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Corbin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corbin advances to half guard. Corbin is nestled in close to Bacon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Corbin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Corbin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Corbin scoring with strikes to the body and head. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Corbin in particular looking to stall. Bacon has hold of Corbin's hands but Corbin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Corbin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Corbin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bacon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Corbin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Corbin working over Bacon with some ground and pound. Bacon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Corbin winds up and cracks Bacon with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Corbin trying to control the pace. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ulysses Corbin dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Corbin scores with a hook to the body. Bacon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Bacon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Al Bacon has been cut. Corbin looks to land a left hand but Bacon moved out of range nicely. Bacon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Corbin misses with a looping right. A big right from Corbin misses. Bacon wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Corbin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Corbin throws a body shot but no joy. Bacon appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Corbin misses with an uppercut. Corbin scores with a decent looking hook. Corbin misses the shot to the body. As Corbin tries to get set, Bacon tries to push him back and clinch up but Corbin manages to avoid the attempt. Corbin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bacon at a distance.

and Bacon counters with a thumping low kick. Corbin missing with a left hand there. Bacon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bacon feinted there with a counter leg kick. Corbin misses with a left hand and Bacon counters with a leg kick. Corbin looks to score with a jab to the body but Bacon is just out of range. Bacon looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Al Bacon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fighters circling - Corbin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bacon fires out a quick counter leg kick but Corbin just manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corbin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bacon quickly recovers to half guard. Bacon taking some punishment here, with Corbin in his half guard. Corbin controlling the action here. Corbin working Bacon over with strikes. Corbin controlling the pace. Corbin wants to free his trapped foot but Bacon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, if Corbin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Corbin slows the pace down in half guard. Corbin moves into full mount! Bacon won't be happy about that!

Corbin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bacon's face.
Bacon is rocked! Corbin fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oh Bacon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Corbin lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Bacon! Corbin sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Bacon and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
