Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Thompson (ranked 4395 p4p, 24706 weight class) and Rodion Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Thompson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodion Brown!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown loads up on a big right hand but Thompson slips the punch.
Thompson throws a body shot but no joy.
Brown misses with a right hand
and Thompson counters with a straight right hand.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thompson defending well as Brown loads up on a big left hand.
As Brown backs away, Thompson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Brown should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Thompson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice uppercut lands for Thompson. That snapped Brown's head back.
It looks like Rodion Brown has been cut.
A lazy left from Brown finds it's target.
It looks like Sam Thompson has been cut.
Brown with a hook.
Brown misses with a straight left.
Thompson moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.
Thompson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
and Brown counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Thompson! He's just covering up as Brown starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodion Brown!
Rodion Brown decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
