Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Lundstrum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Atticus Riley! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lundstrum looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Riley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lundstrum. Lundstrum is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Riley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lundstrum. Still in half guard, Lundstrum seems content to control. Lundstrum looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Riley looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lundstrum is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lundstrum throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Well, if Lundstrum is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lundstrum thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lundstrum not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Riley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lundstrum is working away from the top position though. Riley pushes Lundstrum off looking to stand but Lundstrum dives back in and keeps control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Riley on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Riley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lundstrum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Riley is trying to stand up here but Lundstrum is controlling him well. Nice strikes from Lundstrum there. Riley taking some punishment here, with Lundstrum in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lundstrum controlling the action here. Lundstrum seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Lundstrum sitting and controlling from the half guard. Riley has hold of Lundstrum's hands but Lundstrum slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lundstrum working Riley over with strikes. Lundstrum takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lundstrum is nestled in close to Riley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Riley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
