PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vini Chowkin (ranked 3814 p4p, 3548 weight class) and Kim JumLi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vini Chowkin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vini Chowkin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chowkin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Chowkin has closed the distance and engaged JumLi in a clinch.
Chowkin lands with a short shot to the head.
Chowkin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with JumLi's elbow.
JumLi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
JumLi drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
JumLi blocks an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by JumLi.
A short right from Chowkin.
JumLi tries to pull guard but Chowkin won't allow it.
Vini Chowkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim JumLi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
JumLi blocks a body shot from Chowkin.
JumLi is trying to pull guard but Chowkin has him pressed against the cage.
JumLi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chowkin smiles and moves away.
JumLi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chowkin tries to avoid it but JumLi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chowkin to the ground. Chowkin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chowkin misses with a looping left.
JumLi with the counter takedown but Chowkin avoids it easily.

Chowkin slaps away a takedown attempt from JumLi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
JumLi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
JumLi has a takedown stuffed.

and Chowkin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chowkin. JumLi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chowkin misses with a wild body shot.
JumLi has a takedown stuffed.
JumLi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chowkin pinned against the cage. Chowkin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A quick step to the side and Chowkin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Chowkin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from JumLi.
JumLi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chowkin defends it well.
Kim JumLi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chowkin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chowkin lands a nice looking body shot.
JumLi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chowkin sprawls well. Chowkin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. JumLi gets slowly back to his feet.
Chowkin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Chowkin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from JumLi.

Chowkin scores with a shot to the side of JumLi's head.
JumLi tries to pull guard but Chowkin won't allow it.
Chowkin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
JumLi is trying to pull guard but Chowkin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Chowkin.
JumLi fails to pull guard.
JumLi tries to pull guard but Chowkin forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
JumLi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Still in the clinch, Chowkin scores with a nice short uppercut.

JumLi jumps into guard, dragging Chowkin to the mat.

JumLi looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chowkin is defending well. JumLi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chowkin has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! JumLi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
