Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hades Wayne (ranked 24493 p4p, 2167 weight class) and Neil Nucombe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wayne seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wayne gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wayne takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Some wild striking there from Wayne.
Hades Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nucombe fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wayne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nucombe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wayne keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nucombe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wayne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nucombe swats away the attempt to clinch by Wayne.
Nucombe steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wayne.
Nucombe misses the jab.
Nucombe lands the left hand.
Nucombe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wayne stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Nucombe counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nucombe.

Nucombe scores a nice knee to the body.
Wayne is breathing heavily.
Nucombe lands a nice uppercut.
Nucombe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nucombe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Waynes head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nucombe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Nucombe lands a hook to the side of the head.

Nucombe lands a big knee! That's hurt Wayne! Oh, he's all over the place! Nucombe lands another knee that sends Wayne to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
