The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Zurutuza.
Stone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Stone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zurutuza pushes Stone off looking to stand but Stone dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone controlling the pace. Zurutuza tries to kick Stone off but Stone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Zurutuza scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Stone manages to mount him!
Stone controlling the pace for now. Let's hope that Stone has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zurutuza tries to buck Stone off but he can't manage it. Stone controlling the position easily from mount. Stone postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zurutuza looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Zurutuza wants to get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Phil Stone just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A thudding body kick lands there by Stone!
Zurutuza throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone gets a takedown into half guard. Stone seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Zurutuza is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone scoring with strikes to the body and head. Stone passes the guard and advances to mount! Stone controlling from mount. Zurutuza has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Stone scores with punches from the back.
Zurutuza is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Stone.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zurutuza is trying to get back to his feet but Stone has full control of the position and if anything, Zurutuza has just worked his way into a worse spot. Stone controls the action. Zurutuza wants to get back to his feet. Stone is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Zurutuza is tapping out! This one is all over!
