Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24827 p4p, 24726 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bitok shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buktot is trying to defend but Bitok finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Well, if Bitok is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buktot keeping hold of Bitok's head, controlling as best he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot tries to roll over but Bitok keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot trying to hold on to Bitok's head to control him but Bitok postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buktot looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. And Bitok responds with a good body kick, but Buktot manages to step out the way in time. Buktot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bitok thinks about the counter body kick. Bitok doesn't manage to clinch there - Buktot circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. It looks like Bitok might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Buktot has Bitok pulled in close to control his posture. Buktot continues to stall. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Bitok misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bitok avoids it. Bitok manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buktot on his heels. He'll look to pass Buktot's guard now, I'm sure. Bitok has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buktot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bitok's guard. Buktot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bitok wants to sweep here but Buktot controlling him for the moment. Buktot is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bitok pulls Buktot in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Bitok gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Buktot counters with a good, hard body kick but Bitok shrugs it off. Bitok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Bitok or perhaps it was just good defense by Buktot, which made it look bad. And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Bitok blocks it. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok. Buktot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bitok.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buktot looking to score a takedown here. Bitok is defending well but Buktot drives through and ends up in Bitok's guard. Buktot looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Buktot darts in looking for a takedown but Bitok gets double underhooks and turns Buktot into the cage. Buktot is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bitok prevents a takedown attempt there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok has hold of one of Buktot's legs. Buktot is fighting the takedown attempt but Bitok gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitok stopping the sweep attempt from Buktot. Buktot has Bitok pulled in close to control his posture. Bitok not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Buktot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bitok showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buktot controls Bitok momentarily but Bitok frees himself. Buktot is looking to stand up but Bitok isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buktot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And Bitok responds with a good body kick, but Buktot manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawindi Buktot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Buktot moves in looking to clinch but Bitok pushes him off. Bitok darts in looking for a takedown but Buktot gets double underhooks and turns Bitok into the cage. Buktot is looking for a counter combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bitok closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Buktot to the mat! Buktot manages to get full guard. Bitok throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Buktot is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Buktot is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot is trying to control the position but Bitok postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Kulata Bitok comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bitok has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
