Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Joteel (ranked 208 p4p, 232 weight class) and Soviet Remnant (ranked 34 p4p, 35 weight class). Joteel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Moogwalze. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joteel throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Remnant stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Joteel.
Joteel has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chakuriki LA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Joteel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Remnant.
Joteel works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Soviet Remnant has been cut.
Remnant throws a shot from downtown. Joteel moves away and avoids it.
Nice defenses there by Remnant.
Joteel slips under a jab.
Remnant lands a leg kick that knocks Joteel off balance momentarily.
Remnant tries to land a body kick
and Joteel counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Remnant lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Joteel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Remnant tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Remnant throws a front kick aimed at Joteel's knee but Joteel avoids it well.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Joteel. Remnant shrugs it off though.
Remnant throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Joteel throws a half hearted mid kick.
Joteel swings for the body but Remnant moves out of range.

Joteel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Remnant.

and Joteel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joteel scores with a push kick.
Remnant connects with an inside leg kick.
Remnant misses with a hook. Joteel ducked under it nicely.
Remnant misses with a kick to the body.
Joteel swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Remnant throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Joteel counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Remnant listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Joteel lands with a slapping head kick.
Joteel moves away from the strike by Remnant.
Remnant throws a poor cross that misses
and Joteel counters with a stiff right hand.
Joteel closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Remnant! Joteel dives in looking to finish! Remnant is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
