Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Inganno (ranked 3389 p4p, 4453 weight class) and Esad Chimaev (ranked 440 p4p, 525 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inganno connects with a body shot that sends Chimaev's belly button to the back.
Inganno lands a right hook to the body.
Inganno cracks Chimaev with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sloppy strikes from Inganno. Those never looked like landing.
Inganno tests Chimaev's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A lazy left from Inganno finds it's target.
Inganno uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nice uppercut there from Inganno.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chimaev changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Inganno sizes up Chimaev with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Chimaev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chimaev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Inganno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chimaev goes for a double leg but Inganno avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Inganno continues to drive forward.
Chimaev seems to have recovered his senses.
Tommy Inganno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Esad Chimaev.

Chimaev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Inganno defends well and Chimaev ends up having to push Inganno into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Inganno cracks Chimaev with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Inganno has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chimaev to stand back up!

Inganno drops Chimaev with a beautiful combination! Chimaev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Inganno is looking for the KO!

Inganno throws a nice looking combination but Chimaev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Inganno is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Chimaev has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chimaev there as he acknowledges the shot.

Chimaev tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Chimaev is trying desperately to land a takedown but Inganno is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chimaev.

Chimaev shoots in for a double leg but Inganno sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Chimaev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chimaev takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Inganno lands a head shot.
Chimaev takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Chimaev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inganno as he jumps to the side.
Inganno keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chimaev darts in looking for a takedown but Inganno gets double underhooks and turns Chimaev into the cage.
Chimaev lands a nice leg kick that just misses Inganno's sensitive parts.
Inganno throws a hook but Chimaev blocks it.
Chimaev is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Inganno lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Chimaev goes down and covers up as Inganno starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
