Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoel Romero (ranked 3977 p4p, 4446 weight class) and Alpyurek Sanli (ranked 505 p4p, 531 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yoel Romero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alpyurek Sanli!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Romero misses
and Sanli makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Sanli gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Romero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sanli sprawls well initially but Romero persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sanli is refusing to be controlled, as Romero sits in half guard.
Romero wants to pass the guard but Sanli is defending well.
Sanli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Romero has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sanli clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanli can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
