Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kosami Akagawa (ranked 3230 p4p, 969 weight class) and Jesse James (ranked 418 p4p, 147 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Kosami Akagawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse James! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akagawa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Akagawa throws a head kick but James moves out of range.
James now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Akagawa throws a body kick, spinning off balance and James counters with a stiff right hand. Akagawa will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Akagawa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. James moves out of range as Akagawa throws a body kick.
