Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Renard (ranked 5210 p4p, 4303 weight class) and Peter Joshua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cyclone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Freddy Renard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Joshua!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joshua shoots in but no luck this time.
Renard fails to land the takedown.
Joshua will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Renard takes the fight into the clinch.
Renard is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Renard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Renard struggles to land a body shot inside as Joshua controls his hands.
Renard throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joshua blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Joshua is looking to break free of the clinch but Renard has double underhooks.
Renard goes for a takedown attempt but Joshua pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Renard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Renard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A jab-cross combination lands for Joshua and sends Renard crashing to the mat! Joshua follows him down to the mat - Renard regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Freddy Renard has been cut.
Joshua decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Renard is breathing heavily.
Renard doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Joshua counters with a one-two to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Joshua cracks Renard's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Renard slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Joshua can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Joshua!
In defeat, Freddy Renard stepped up to the mic, saying 'Im going to be back!, train harder and smarter for the next fight, improve some weak spots and success will come...soon'.
