Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olly Holy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Talon Cannonier!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannonier throws a big shot that misses.
Cannonier throws a series of punches but Holy moves out of range.
Holy ducks under a wild hook from Cannonier.
Cannonier jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cannonier missing with a left hand there. Holy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Holy forces Cannonier back against the cage and clinches.
Holy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cannonier stalling in the clinch but Holy improves position.
Holy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cannonier just stands there and leans against the cage.
Holy tries to pull guard but Cannonier forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olly Holy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Cannonier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Holy has his feet on Cannonier's thighs here. He's pushed Cannonier off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cannonier screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
