Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dax Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Project Nato!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan shoots and misses
and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ryan fails with the takedown
and Nato counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ryan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ryan cracks Nato with a big elbow.
Nato gets back to half guard.
Ryan trying to control the action but Nato is working from the bottom.
Ryan drops an elbow to the side of Nato's head.
Ryan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nato regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Ryan.
Nato avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Ryan distracts Nato with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ryan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Nato has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ryan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ryan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nato is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Nato is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ryan with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ryan lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nato avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ryan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nato's head.
Ryan throws a big right hand that misses.
Ryan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nato's head.
Nato is rocked!
Nato had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ryan defends it easily.
Nato is still in real trouble! Can Ryan finish him?
Ryan postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Nato's head off the mat! Nato is out! He's out! Ryan jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
