Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Der Hund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gutz Gambino!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambino displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hund.
Gambino tries to counter with a clinch but Hund shakes him off and moves away.
Gambino tries to close the distance and clinch but Hund swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gambino.
Gambino blocks a head kick by Hund.
Hund changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gambino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gambino wants to get back to his feet but Hund is dominant here and he's now got Gambino's back!
Hund is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Gambino with him. Gambino is trying to defend but Hund has an arm under the chin now! Gambino grimaces and is forced to tap out!
