The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigorev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Grigorev getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Grigorev is looking to clinch.
Grigorev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Grigorev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leighton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Grigorev lands a nice looking body shot.
Leighton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Leighton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Grigorev!
Leighton has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Grigorev is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Leighton yanks on the arm and Grigorev is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Leighton.
