Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Borisov!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaos misses with a few strikes there.
Borisov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gaos was well out of range. Poor timing from Borisov.
Gaos throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Gaos misses with a takedown
and Borisov counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gaos misses with a head kick.
A lazy left from Borisov finds it's target.
Borisov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gaos takes a swing at Borisov's ribcage but misses.

Borisov gets caught napping as Gaos dives in and scores a takedown. Borisov manages to retain guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gaos wants to stand but Borisov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gaos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Borisov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Borisov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gaos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Borisov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Borisov thows a huge punch but Gaos dodges it nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

and Borisov counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gaos out cold! What a finish! Borisov is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
