Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pelosi Davito!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davito throws a leg kick which misses King's front leg but catches the back leg as King tries to avoid it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Davito.
King misses with a body shot
enabling Davito to counter with a crisp jab.
King definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Davito. That's going to slow King down.
Davito lands a big head kick that sends King tumbling to the mat! Davito takes a step backwards and waves King back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davito keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Davito staying out of range there.
King has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Davito.
Davito dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
King misses with an uppercut.
King does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
King walks straight into a right hand from Davito - that's dropped him! Davito jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save King from any more punishment! King complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pelosi Davito!
