The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses the jab.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Tinkelbery.
Tinkelbery could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jones's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jones duly obliges.
It looks like TokTok Tinkelbery has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Tinkelbery misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jones throws the left hand but Tinkelbery avoids the punch easily.
Steve Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tinkelbery fails with a takedown attempt.
Tinkelbery feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Tinkelbery changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Tinkelbery from controlling successfully.
Tinkelbery drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Tinkelbery is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tinkelbery is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tinkelbery is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jones is working to tighten is grip on Tinkelbery's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tinkelbery has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jones is really squeezing tight and eventually Tinkelbery passes out! Jones breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
