This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 21 losses; Vartan Esteves! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 3 losses; Nuri Jafar!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Jafar moves into the clinch successfully.

Jafar jumps guard and drags Esteves to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Esteves is stalling in the full guard.
Esteves is fighting to break Jafar's control of his arms but Jafar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jafar is trying to control the position but Esteves postures up.

Esteves seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jafar for as long as he can get away with.

After winning the bout, Vartan Esteves thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
