This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 10 losses; Dragon Li Chai! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Lester Burnham!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Burnham tries for a takedown but Chai circles away easily

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burnham pulls Chai in close to his closed guard and prevents Chai from doing any damage or advancing position.
Chai pushes down on Burnham's leg and manages to get into half guard.
