Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort throws a hook but Grandmasion blocks it.
Francois Grandmasion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort misses with an uppercut.
Belfort dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Grandmasion moves away from the strike by Belfort.
Belfort connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Belfort throws a left that rocks Grandmasion and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Belfort dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Grandmasion regain composure!

Belfort wants to control the pace but Grandmasion is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belfort is going olschool here, as he tries to force Grandmasion to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Grandmasion shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grandmasion keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Grandmasion is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Grandmasion tries to hold on but Belfort pushes him away.
Belfort looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Grandmasion lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Belfort fails with the takedown.
Belfort takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Belfort looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grandmasion is fending him off so far but Belfort persists. Nope, Grandmasion circles away and we're back to standing.
Grandmasion throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Belfort stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Belfort blocks a head kick by Grandmasion.
A chopping leg kick lands by Grandmasion.
Belfort chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Grandmasion can pounce on him.
Grandmasion comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Grandmasion lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Grandmasion stuns Belfort with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Belfort tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Grandmasion is looking to slow Belfort down with leg kicks.
Belfort gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Belfort takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Grandmasion lands an overhand right.
Belfort is rocked!

Grandmasion lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Belfort is still on wobbly legs! Can Grandmasion finish him?
Grandmasion fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grandmasion drops Belfort with a huge uppercut! Belfort drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Grandmasion is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
