Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza has chosen - as his entrance music. Thiago Souza will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garrett Greene! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thiago Souza! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Greene tries to avoid it but Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Greene to the ground. Greene escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Greene tries to clinch up but Souza circles away and keeps his distance. No luck for Souza with that takedown attempt. Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Greene swivels and escapes. Garrett Greene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Souza. Greene fails with an attempt to clinch.
Souza fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Greene sprawls well initially but Souza persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Greene punching from the bottom.
Greene has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Greene looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Greene looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Greene moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene keeping moving, preventing Souza from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Souza passes Greene's left leg - he's now in half guard. Greene tries to get to full guard but Souza has control of the leg. Souza frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Greene is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Souza is going olschool here, as he tries to force Greene to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Greene shrugs it off. Souza goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Greene turns into him and now he's in Souza's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Souza is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Souza drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Greene dives on top into guard. Souza has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Greene should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Souza has tightened it up now! Greene should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
