Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Heceda (ranked 1576 p4p, 4663 weight class) and Rocco Damato (ranked 174 p4p, 389 weight class). Heceda's entrance music is Hawaiian Kickboxer. A fine choice. Damato is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thunderstruck. Rocco Damato told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Heceda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocco Damato!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damato throws a right hand that Heceda ducks under and follows up with a left that Heceda also avoids with ease.
Heceda is looking to counter punch.
Damato loads up on a big right hand but Heceda slips the punch.
It looked like Heceda was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Damato.
Damato shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Heceda counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Damato throws a sloppy head kick and Heceda moves out of range easily.
Heceda scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Damato doesn't seem bothered though.

Damato shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Heceda eats them both and turns towards Damato to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Heceda is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
