Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carter Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Raider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Raider is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carter Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Raider!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Raider sprawls well initially but Hardy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hardy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raider is just riding it out for now. Hardy eventually gives up the hold.
Raider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hardy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Raider!
Hardy tries to control but Raider wriggling away.

Hardy tries to control but Raider wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Raider to the mat! Raider manages to get full guard.

Hardy stands and throws Raider's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hardy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Raider has one foot on Hardy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Ricky Raider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Raider lands with a kick to the temple. Hardy shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Carter Hardy has been cut.
Raider stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Raider scores with a decent looking hook.
Raider tests Hardy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Raider looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hardy is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Raider pulls his head out easily.

Raider works over Hardy with some ground and pound from guard.

Raider throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Raider closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Raider is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hardy is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Raider escapes and gets back to his feet.
Raider shoots in and bounces Hardy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Raider is looking to stand up but Hardy won't let him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ricky Raider showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Hardy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raider tries to avoid it but Hardy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raider to the ground. Raider escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Raider feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hardy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Raider is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Raider throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hardy.

Ricky Raider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Raider has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
