This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 12 losses; The Reverend Jim Ignatowski! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 7 losses; Nuri Jafar! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Jafar goes for a double leg but Ignatowski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ignatowski continues to drive forward. Ignatowski is looking to counter the offense by Jafar and move into the clinch. Ignatowski moves into the clinch. Jafar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ignatowski after a bit of a struggle. Ignatowski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ignatowski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Ignatowski keeping moving, preventing Jafar from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jafar is looking to advance position but Ignatowski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jafar is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Ignatowski off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

A relieved looking The Reverend Jim Ignatowski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Nuri Jafar stepped up to the mic, saying 'He did not follow the script'. |
