Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tuur Carlier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luke Cromwell!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cromwell throws a series of strikes that have Carlier backpedaling.
Cromwell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Carlier counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cromwell!

Carlier is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cromwell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Carlier is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Carlier has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cromwell!
Cromwell is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Carlier is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cromwell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cromwell really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carlier fails to move to back control.
Carlier takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cromwell is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Cromwell tries to hold on but Carlier pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carlier fails to advance to Cromwell's back.
Cromwell tries to reverse the position but Carlier maintains control.
Carlier sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Carlier manages to capitalize on a mistake by Cromwell to take his back!

Cromwell rolls, trying to escape but Carlier keeps control of the position.
Cromwell is still trying to improve position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Carlier working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Carlier has got one arm under Cromwell's chin. This could be trouble... Cromwell trying to control the other hand but Carlier gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Cromwell has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tuur Carlier!
Tuur Carlier seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
