Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Wassa Tayu (ranked 21950 p4p, 24627 weight class) and Choi Ong (ranked 571 p4p, 572 weight class). Choi Ong has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wassa Tayu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wassa Tayu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Choi Ong!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tayu lands a jab to the head.
Tayu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Choi Ong has been cut.
The fighters circling - Ong throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tayu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tayu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tayu jabs Ong right on the nose. Ong blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tayu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ong misses with a left hand
and Tayu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ong swings widly with a right hand
and Tayu counters with a nice body shot.
Tayu closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Ong crashing to the mat! Ong uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Ong is rocked!
Tayu connects with a quick right hand that sends Ong tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Wassa Tayu!
