Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastiao Dias (ranked 3644 p4p, 4921 weight class) and Joe Barbano (ranked 419 p4p, 488 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Barbano's choice of entrance music: Tevvez - Glimmer of hope. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbano swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Dias counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barbano won't be happy with that.
Barbano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dias. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dias is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Barbano defends it well.

Dias takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dias lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Barbano head around and knocks him out cold! Dias hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
