Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Johnny Lawrence (ranked 23473 p4p, 5089 weight class) and Keith Thurman (ranked 630 p4p, 564 weight class). Thurman has chosen Stray Bullet as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thurman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lawrence has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lawrence misses with an uppercut.
Lawrence connects with a looping right hand.
Lawrence misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lawrence definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lawrence misses with a looping right.
Lawrence darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Johnny Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawrence with a nice calf kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lawrence crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thurman - the referee stops the clock and Lawrence gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thurman . Lawrence manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Lawrence swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Thurman .
Thurman is rocked!
Lawrence tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thurman is still on wobbly legs! Can Lawrence finish him?
Lawrence weaves into range and cracks Thurman right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Thurman goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Lawrence is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Lawrence!
Keith Thurman spoke after the fight, saying 'Heck of a matchup this was, uphill battle from the start. Credit to my opponent for getting the W.'.
