Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Erran Morad (ranked 3232 p4p, 23221 weight class) and Tarvin Macnamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erran Morad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tarvin Macnamara! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macnamara staying out of range there. Macnamara lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Morad thows a left - swing and a miss! Macnamara with the counter takedown but Morad avoids it easily. Macnamara tries to close the distance and clinch but Morad swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Morad leaves Macnamara with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Morad throws a leg kick but Macnamara sees it coming and checks it nicely. Macnamara looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Macnamara throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Macnamara throws a quick inside leg kick. Macnamara takes a jab right on the kisser.
Macnamara blocks a jab. A swing and a miss from Macnamara. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morad looks to land a right hand but Macnamara moved out of range. Morad sets himself, and Macnamara steps forward looking for the clinch! Morad avoids it this time. Macnamara takes a jab right on the kisser.
Morad scores with a nice strike. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morad tries a head kick but it misses.
Morad throws a lazy uppercut
and Macnamara counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Morad fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macnamara uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morad. Macnamara wants to clinch up but Morad keeps it at a distance. Macnamara is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morad sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A good leg kick by Morad. Macnamara misses with a body shot.
Morad thumps Macnamara with a low kick. Morad missing with a left hand there. Macnamara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Macnamara tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Morad manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Morad displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Macnamara. Erran Morad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tarvin Macnamara. Morad misses with an uppercut. Macnamara saw that one coming. Morad tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Macnamara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morad.
Morad scores with a sloppy right hand. Macnamara should have avoided that one. Nice body punch from Macnamara. Morad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morad drives through with a takedown into Macnamara's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Macnamara has momentary wrist control but Morad slips an elbow through the middle. Morad is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Macnamara is looking for a triangle here but Morad uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Morad scoring with punches from side control. Morad is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Macnamara is trying to escape and Morad transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Macnamara is forced to tap! Nice work there by Morad! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Erran Morad! After the fight, Erran Morad was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
