Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Telushikin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Liam St. Georges !
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St. Georges scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Joseph Telushikin has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Telushikin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Telushikin is looking to clinch.
St. Georges takes a swing at Telushikin's ribcage but misses.
Telushikin throws a quick counter head kick but St. Georges was just out of range.
Telushikin misses with a head kick.
St. Georges feints a counter leg kick.
St. Georges tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Telushikin was well out of range. Poor timing from St. Georges .
Telushikin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that St. Georges has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
St. Georges looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Telushikin tries to clinch there but St. Georges circles away.

Telushikin forces St. Georges back against the ropes and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch on the inside from Telushikin fails to land.
St. Georges blocks a punch to the side of the head.

St. Georges breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
St. Georges throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Telushikin wants to clinch up but St. Georges keeps it at a distance.
A little jabbing left from St. Georges on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Telushikin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
St. Georges connects with a looping right hand.
St. Georges misses with a straight left.
A head kick misses from Telushikin.
Telushikin wants to clinch
and St. Georges counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Telushikin is rocked!
Telushikin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
St. Georges ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Telushikin moves away.
Telushikin moves away from the strike by St. Georges .
Telushikin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
St. Georges tries a head kick but it misses.
Telushikin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
St. Georges tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Telushikin was well out of range. Poor timing from St. Georges .

Telushikin closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Telushikin letting St. Georges take a breather here.

St. Georges breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
St. Georges circles away from the clinch attempt
and St. Georges connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Telushikin misses the body punch
and before Telushikin has any time to reset, St. Georges cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Liam St. Georges !
