Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phoby Potts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potts dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Potts cracks Jackson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jackson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Potts ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
Potts drops Jackson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jackson looks back up at him and smiles so Potts waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jackson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson drops his hands momentarily. Potts doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Jackson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Jackson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
