Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Steve (ranked 4173 p4p, 4562 weight class) and Laser Fints (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Laser Fints!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fints misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fints drives through with a takedown into guard.
Steve will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Steve is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Steve keeping moving, preventing Fints from controlling successfully.

Fints closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Steve did well to prevent Fints getting side control.

Steve shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fints tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fints scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Steve on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steve tries to get out of the position.
Steve is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fints connects with a decent elbow.
Fints throws an elbow but Steve slips to the side and avoids it well.
Fints misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Steve tries to control but Fints manages to take his back.
Fints has good solid back control here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steve rolls, trying to escape but Fints keeps control of the position.
Fints gets his hands free as Steve looks to control.
Steve is trying to get back to his feet but Fints has full control of the position and if anything, Steve has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Fints is not going to allow Steve to sit and survive in this position.
Steve tries to roll but Fints sticks to his back.
Laser Fints has got the better of the ground game so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Steve is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fints is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Laser Fints showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Fints jumps guard and drags Steve to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fints working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Steve doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Steve manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Steve is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Steve dives in for a single leg takedown but Fints sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Steve sets himself, and Fints steps forward looking for the clinch! Steve avoids it this time.
Steve is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fints gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Steve wants to take the fight to the mat but Fints manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Steve pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fints swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steve is looking to counter the offense by Fints and move into the clinch.
William Steve has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Laser Fints is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Steve throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Laser Fints comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fints winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
