Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pate Ro (ranked 2638 p4p, 3431 weight class) and Gwennyth Hyper (ranked 317 p4p, 390 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pate Ro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gwennyth Hyper!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ro keeps the fight on the outside.
Ro takes a swing at Hyper's ribcage but misses.
Ro misses the jab.
Hyper tries to counter by closing the distance.
Ro throws a looping overhand right but Hyper ducks down to avoid it.
Ro lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Gwennyth Hyper has been cut.
Ro pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ro throws a sloppy body shot
and Hyper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hyper staying out of range there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hyper! But no joy.
Hyper takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ro feints a jab promting Hyper to slip. Ro then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hyper slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Pate Ro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ro throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hyper on the side of the head.
Nice uppercut there from Ro.

Hyper tries to clinch but Ro moves away
and Ro counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Hyper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ro. Hyper does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hyper tries to counter by closing the distance.
Ro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ro is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hyper.
Hyper takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ro misses with an uppercut. Hyper saw that one coming.
Hyper slips a jab from Ro.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hyper looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hyper tries to clinch up but Ro circles away and keeps his distance.
Ro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hyper takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pate Ro dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ro throws a lazy right hand but Hyper sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ro cracks Hyper with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hyper slips a jab from Ro.
Hyper is looking to clinch.
Pate Ro is winning the standup battle so far.
Ro swings for the body but Hyper moves out of range.
Hyper keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ro.
Hyper wants to counter the offense by Ro and move into the clinch position.

Hyper on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hyper ducks right into an uppercut from Ro.
Ro lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hyper at a distance.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Hyper might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Ro has got the better of the exchanges.
Ro misses with a straight left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hyper! But no joy.
Hyper takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That has opened up Gwennyth Hyper's cut even more.
Ro lands a nice shot that snaps Hyper's head back.

Hyper looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hyper is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ro throws a body punch but Hyper moves out of range.
Hyper swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ro looks to land a left hand but Hyper moved out of range nicely.
Ro drops Hyper with a beautiful combination! Hyper stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ro is looking for the KO!
Hyper is still on wobbly legs! Can Ro finish him?
Hyper on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ro drops Hyper with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hyper looks back up at him and smiles so Ro waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The cut above Gwennyth Hyper's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ro engages and cracks Hyper with a massive lead left hook - Hyper tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ro is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pate Ro!
Pate Ro seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
