The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sonnen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches De Moncey napping and manages to drive through into side control!

We've been hearing good reports from Sonnen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Khamzat Sonnen will probably get the nod.

Sonnen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sonnen wants it to stay on the feet.

De Moncey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if De Moncey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
